AWS RDS vs MySQL on Shared Hosting

RDS provides managed databases with backups and scaling, while shared hosting includes MySQL without management. How much easier is RDS for maintenance? Do beginners benefit from the added cost, or is traditional MySQL enough for small websites?

AWS RDS offers managed database services with automated backups, scaling, high availability, and security. MySQL on shared hosting is simpler and cheaper but limited in performance, customization, and reliability. For growing sites, RDS handles traffic spikes and maintenance better than shared-host MySQL.
