EC2 vs Lightsail: Which Is Better for Beginners?

Both EC2 and Lightsail are good for hosting small applications. But I woukd like to know how they differ in setup, control, ease of use and pricing? Which option reduces mistakes while still teaching core AWS concepts?

I think Lightsail is usually easier for beginners because it provides simple plans, a guided setup, and predictable pricing. Lightsail is great for small websites, blogs, and basic apps. EC2 is more flexible and powerful.

Lightsail is better than EC2 for beginners because it offers easy setup and flat pricing. EC2 is powerful than Lightsail but you need to understand networking and security groups. If you want quick results, choose Lightsail. Pick EC2 when you want full control and deeper AWS learning.
