The approach I used to prepare for this exam was as follows. Firstly, I went through the AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials Digital classroom. Then, I studied all of the relevant material here on awsboy. Lastly, I studied the AWS Cloud Practitioner flashcards on Quizlet (ScienceLuke7_ had a great deck).
As for the exam, I noted that there were several questions about the AWS well architected framework. You really need to know these 6 pillars thoroughly.
