High availability is a core AWS concept, but it also adds complexity. When does using multiple availability zones make sense? Is multi-region architecture practical early on, or is it better when introduced later?
I don't think beginners have to worry much about Multi-AZ or Multi-Region at the start. In stead, they should focus on learning core services and keeping costs low. You can add high availability and regional backups later when your project starts getting bigger and requires uptime.
