EC2 gives you full control over instance types, OS, and scaling, however, it has one major drawbacks i.e. it also adds management overhead.. Have you moved workloads from Lambda or ECS back to EC2, or the other way around?
You can choose EC2 over managed compute when you need full control of the server, want custom configurations, or software that doesn’t run well in container or serverless environments.
